The
handheld citrus press is the most intense handheld vice (I've ever used) purely for the removal of every last droplet of citrus. It's wonderful and totally worth it. It also strains the seeds, and the pulp gets squished so much that it doesn't really come out, so there's no need for additional straining.
I used it when I made these
Lemon Ricotta Cookies, and when I needed to brighten the flavor in this
easy freezer jam and when I made these
Raspberry filled Lemon cupcakes.
I got this type of
citrus reamer years ago but rarely use it since the citrus press came into my life. Do you have one of these?
