Kitchen Fixation: April

Ghirardelli chocolate is one of my favorite chocolate's to bake with. Many years ago I was in San Francisco and had the joy of getting a chocolate sundae at the Original Chocolate Manufactory and it was everything you want a sundae to be- delicious! I typically buy a jumbo-sized bag of their bittersweet chocolate chips from BJ's because I will use it, especially when I make these cookies. Or I'm constantly buying their chocolate baking bars for melting- like I did here and here. Do you have a favorite chocolate to bake with?

    Yes! I like Trader Joe's semi-sweet bits because my daughter has a peanut allergy & it's difficult to find chocolate bits that are Not manufactured on equipment with peanuts or tree nuts. & plus, they taste great!
    I will have to check out Ghirardelli though, thanks!

      KK, it's been a long time since I tried Trader Joe's chocolate bits, but they do make wonderful Pound Plus bars that I use when I'm doing lot's of baking around the holiday's.
