The husband of the birthday girl wanted to surprise her with her favorite cake, my chocolate raspberry cake with chocolate ganache as icing. The "40" and the Happy Birthday signs are made with wafer chocolate.
This is a chocolate cake with light blue wafer chocolate decorations. 
This cake was for a Cowgirl Themed birthday party. The "lasso rope" around the cake is made of fondant braided together.
I love me a good chocolate rasberry cake. It looks positively decadent!
ReplyDeleteThe Chocolate raspberry cake with the choc. ganache icing is by far my favorite cake. It is a 5-star rated cake. I would have to say that this is Trisha's signiture cake.
