This wedding cake was for 200+ guests and all of the cake is vanilla but the bottom, middle and top tier are filled w/ the french vanilla custard and the other 2 tiers are filled w/ lemon custard. This was my first lemon filling and it turned out really well!
The bride wanted the cake to look like a box of presents and she wanted the cakes to sit on top of each other in a topsy turvy way. The cake was all chocolate raspberry w/ fondant. The blue ribbon and bow is fondant in periwinkle blue w/ a painted edible shimmer and the silver flowers are gum paste w/ a painted edible silver shimmer.
